Play Around in Platte

Parks and Recreation

Platte offers two different parks, a dog park, and a newly remodeled pool!

South Park

The newly developed South Park features playground equipment for all ages, picnic shelter, a tennis court, pickle ball court, band shelter, catch-and-release fishing pond, walking path, and a 9-hole Frisbee Golf course.

North Park

North Park is a great place to catch a game, as it has a softball field, a tennis court, and a sand volleyball court. It also has a variety of playground equipment to entertain the younger crowd. A Butterfly Garden, created by second and fifth graders from the Platte-Geddes School, attracts Monarch butterflies. Make a day of it and enjoy lunch at one of the picnic shelters.
